More about Amanda…
Amanda has always loved working with dogs and horses. She began riding at five and spent all her free time at the barn. At a young age, Amanda started volunteering for animal rescues and continued her volunteerism throughout her undergraduate studies. Her experience training horses allowed her to transition to training dogs naturally, and in college, she worked primarily with dogs with severe behavioral challenges.
While completing graduate school in Boston, Amanda worked as a trainer for Community Canine. Amanda now works from home as a scientist for a biotech company. She lives in the MetroWest area and offers boarding at her home. She has a large yard close to several walking trails and hiking paths. Amanda’s dog, Gracey, is a great role model for other dogs and an excellent hiking buddy. Amanda’s flexible schedule, spacious location, and experience training and handling difficult dogs make her an ideal host for many of our clients.
